Many visitors to Christchurch never go to the seaside. The drive to Redcliffs and Smner is outstanding, providing a fine alternative to city life. Sumner offers the opportunity to try out surfing or relax at one of several superb cafes and restaurant. Our favourite is Club Bizzarre which is part surf memorabilia, part hand made pizza and pasta parlour.
